The History of TEL-STER
The history of TEL-STER is inseparably linked with the development of the TelWin SCADA industrial process visualization system and the evolution of global informatics. Below we present the key stages of our development, keeping in mind that alongside our flagship SCADA system, we have created a range of specialized solutions, including for the gas sector.
The Era of DOS Systems and the Birth of Telas
Artur Sobkowiak, in cooperation with the Wielkopolski District Gas Works (WOZG), develops the Telas system.
Just as IT giants started with DOS, our foundation was Telas – a system dedicated to the WOZG dispatch center. It evolved alongside growing needs, supporting an ever-wider range of industrial devices.
Graphical Breakthrough and TelWin SCADA v1
Developing the principles of the TelWin SCADA system.
We focused on a modular design, which allowed for free functional expansion and the creation of distributed systems. The new system maintained continuity with Telas, becoming an open platform for the gas, water, and industrial sectors.
32-bit Architecture and TelWin SCADA v2
Premiere of TelWin SCADA version 2.
The transition to a 32-bit platform resulted in a significant leap in performance and stability. The system gained support for new communication protocols while maintaining full compatibility with the first version.
Formalization of Business
Transformation of TEL-STER into a limited liability company.

New Millennium and TelWin SCADA v3
Implementation of the third version of the system.
We introduced breakthrough features: support for user scripts, a wider range of data types, and export via ODBC and DDE interfaces. A new visualization client with scalable diagrams also appeared.
AUTOMATICON Gold Medal and MTP Gold Medal
TelWin SCADA x64 wins the Gold Medal at the AUTOMATICON 2008 International Automation and Measurement Fair in Warsaw and the Poznań International Fair Gold Medal at the AUTOMA 2009 fair.
Modernity and TelWin SCADA v4
We focused on optimizing performance in new system environments and further developing communication modules, adapting the system to increasingly high market requirements.
TelWin IDS - Gold Medal
Creation of the TelWin IDS Integrated Dispatch System by integrating TelWin SCADA and TelNOTE.
The TelWin IDS system wins the Gold Medal at the 20th International AUTOMATICON 2014 Fair. Recognition for 10 years of experience in creating SCADA systems.
New Headquarters
TEL-STER moves to its own new office building at ul. Stefana Stefańskiego 23 in Suchy Las.
Stabilization and TelWin SCADA v5
The fifth version of the system brought full support for the world's most popular operating environment, emphasizing reliability and integration with new industrial data exchange standards.
Map Support in TelWin SCADA v6
The new version introduced support for maps in the OpenStreetMap standard.
Multi-monitor Support and TelWin SCADA v7
The latest installment of the system gained extensive support for multi-monitor workstations and a broad base of new device drivers, responding to the needs of modern supervision centers.

GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. becomes the new owner of TEL-STER Sp. z o.o.
Joining the structures of a strategic operator enabled the company to grow dynamically, strengthen its technological potential, and stably implement key projects for the country's critical infrastructure.
